I just wanted to thank you for making the booking for our wedding on the 24th July, and let you know that Tony did a fantastic job. In the afternoon he played background music to the afternoon tea we were having in the garden, and although it would have been easy for him to hide away on the stage he instead took the opportunity (while of course remaining completely professional throughout) to make himself accessible to our guests. By the time the music started properly in the evening Tony had already proved himself to be approachable, easygoing and popular, this combined with his excellent choices of music meant that a great time was had by all. My mother had not danced in the 12 years, before our wedding claiming to be to old for it, but (as she keeps reminding me) she danced that night, also one of Jackie’s work mates who does not normally feel comfortable in social situations, does not often attend parties and certainly never dances, had a great time and even spent quite a bit of time on the dance floor herself. I think these two examples are purely down to the fact that Tony took the time to make himself accessible to our guests and this in turn made people feel comfortable, not only with him personally but also with themselves. We hope Tony (and the trifle) had a safe journey home to his wife, and in case he is still interested can you please let him know that our secret honeymoon destination was Kenya, we both enjoyed a one week safari followed by two weeks on the beach, where we also both learned to scuba dive. Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how wonderful our DJ was on the evening of our Wedding. Ben was friendly, warm and helpful from the minute he arrived (nice and early btw) and was delighted to accommodate my CD of essential songs to be played during the evening. In the end we only had a list of around 15 songs to play, the rest were left down to Ben with some genre guides but that was it – his balance of tunes to appeal to our mix aged party was perfect. I have had superb feedback from the rest of the guests about the music mix, everyone enjoying a dance to songs of their choice and Ben managed to sneak in every request on the night at a suitable point. Later on in the evening, as the oldies were beginning to fade, he switched to a run of great classic tracks the breathed a second life into them, really appreciated that! And the final run of dance and trance classics was the icing on the cake – I (and many others) were in absolute heaven and the actual mixing and scratching Ben threw in was excellent and made us go crazy! All in all, you provided a superb, professional service that really made our evening reception the great party it was – I also couldn’t recommend Ben highly enough as a DJ and will be suggesting A1 discos to anyone who needs music at an event.
